Pilot enclosures from ROSE
Our mobile handheld control enclosures Pilot 10, 20 and 30 offer space for up to ten pushbutton or switching elements, depending on size and application. They are also characterised by a secure hold due to the integrated handle as well as easy attachment to the machine or wall due to possible wall or magnetic holders. The shatterproof polyamide versions guarantee a high impact resistance of the enclosure of 7 joules in accordance to EN 60079-0, thus completing the highlights of the product family .
The Pilot 50 is the universal enclosure system for machine and plant construction as well as control and display technology. The enclosure system consists of an inner and an outer enclosure profile and thus offers the installations optimum protection even in harsh industrial atmospheres. Due to the profile technology, the Pilot is characterised by a high degree of flexibility and has individual lengths depending on the requirements and area of application. The front panels are made of PVC as standard, but aluminium is also available as an alternative. The Pilot 50 offers ideal installation options for small controls and control panels. This includes, for example, the integration of control devices such as different push-buttons or emergency stop buttons .
The mobile Pilot 110-150 operating and control enclosure is perfectly suited for use in modern machine and plant construction and, thanks to the five different sizes, offers optimum installation options for different applications. Thanks to the graduated range of sizes, the front panel can be individually equipped with switches and membrane keypads – tailored to your requirements. Instead of the standard polystyrene front panel, aluminium front panels can also be used on request. Furthermore, thanks to the shatterproof polyamide versions, the product family impresses with a high impact resistance of 7 joules in accordance to EN 60079-0. The Pilot 110-150 has a low weight and an ergonomic handle shape, so that a high degree of ergonomics as well as an optimised and easy hand position are given.
Our Pilot 250 is used in industrial applications and was specially developed for the protection of decentralised electronic assemblies – an important aspect for the rapidly changing demands on automation and control components. The Pilot 250 enclosures have prepared mounting points for displays, membrane keyboards and PCBs and are available both with a closed front panel lid and with a lid frame for customised front panels. The mobile handheld enclosure impresses with a high degree of flexibility due to the large installation space and the removable rear cover. This provides quick access to the battery compartment or interface ports, for example, and makes it possible to quickly replace electronic components. .
A wide range of machining options
The push-button enclosures have optimum access to the interior as well as an integrated cable entry with bend protection and strain relief. After the supply cable has been assembled, it is ideally protected against tensile stress and cable breakage by the combination of standard cable bend protection and pilot enclosures. This ensures reliable protection even if the enclosure is frequently moved from one position to another at the place of use.

The Pilot enclosures were developed with important ergonomic aspects in mind. For example, the ergonomic handle of the Pilot enclosures not only ensures a secure and comfortable grip, but also simple, flexible operation of the enclosure. This ensures comfortable and pleasant operation even during prolonged use.
The flexible key assignment also makes an important contribution to ergonomic operation. For example, enabling buttons can be integrated directly into the handle to enable quick, easy operation directly in the hand.
