Special enclosures for the installation of sensors and measurement technology

ROSE Systemtechnik develops customised enclosures made of aluminium, plastic or stainless steel, which are not only safe but also match the appearance of your product.

IoT and sensor housings for all areas

After clarifying your requirements and the area of application, we will advise you on the right materials, seals and design. Die-cast aluminium enclosures, explosion-proof enclosures and plastic enclosures are used particularly frequently. They have different strengths due to their material properties. In addition to development and production, we also take on the complete machining of the enclosures. Drilling, milling, thread cutting, painting, printing and much more are all part of our service.

We coat the measurement technology enclosures with powder or wet paint in all colours and refine the products by engraving with or without design as well as pad and screen printing. The processes can also be combined depending on the nature of the sensor enclosures. To fully protect the prints, the entire enclosure surface is sealed again with an AMI 8849 Clear lacquer. At the same time, the protective coating increases the UV resistance and lightfastness of the colours.

In addition to the development and processing of the empty enclosure, we also offer comprehensive assembly. We equip both our customised and standard enclosures with the following components in the field of measurement technology: Connectors, push-buttons, membrane keypads, design foils, cable glands, fibre optics, windows, terminals.

Customers who prefer to choose from our standard range are best advised to use our Aluform enclosures. The multifunctional design can be quickly and easily supplemented with buttons, displays, cable glands, etc.

The cost of moulding a special enclosure is often only worthwhile from a certain quantity. If you need a simple, cost-effective and quick solution for your sensor enclosure, you will be happy with our Aluform enclosure. The die-cast aluminium enclosure was developed for measurement technology and is available in over 15 different sizes from 80 x 80 x 81 mm to 280 x 280 x 111 mm.

We can easily fit it with your desired components. The aluminium enclosure was specially designed by us to accommodate membrane keypads and front foils. The flat shape and the rounded bevelled cover give the standard enclosure a special look that can be optimally integrated anywhere. Like all our enclosures, we can also paint and finish an Aluform sensor enclosure according to your individual design, turning our standard enclosure into your IoT solution quickly and easily.

Resistance and explosion protection

Our measurement technology enclosures fulfil protection class IP66 as standard. With special seals, we can also provide higher protection classes such as IP67 or IP69 on request. This reliably protects the inside of the enclosure from water and dust. They are also temperature-resistant in the range from -20°C to +120°C. We create reliable EMC protection for die-cast aluminium enclosures by using seals with metallic particles. Plastic enclosures, on the other hand, are vapour-coated on the inside with an EMC coating for electromagnetic compatibility. ESD-compliant special packaging ensures safe transport.

In order to guarantee the specified degree of protection, we carry out in-house laboratory tests on our products and send you test reports. Explosion-proof enclosures are essential for hazardous areas in which, for example, the flow rate of gas or oil levels are measured. As we develop standard and special enclosures for all areas of application, we are also experienced experts in the field of explosion protection.

Coating and design

With our special coatings, paints and prints, we make your sensor enclosure not only robust, but also individualised. We offer enclosures in almost any colour.

Processing and assembly

We don’t just supply you with the basic shape of the enclosure. We machine them so that all the components fit inside, seal the enclosures and fit them with components.
