SL 4000

SL 4000 – the modular enclosure

The SL 4000 is one of the most modular-structured control enclosure systems currently available on the market. It protects installed components with Degree of Protection IP 65. The system comprises six different aluminium profiles and covers installation depths from 55 mm to 270 mm. These enclosures are produced with individual heights and widths to meet customers’ wishes. The handle strip integrated into the profiles simplifies system handling. In the SL 4000, the profiles can be hinged with one another or screw-fixed. This results in eighteen possible different variants of this enclosure.

Displays, control systems, buttons and membrane keypads can be installed via the front panel.
In addition, the side profiles and the rear panel can also be used for the installation of additional components, such as interface inserts, for example. For the SL 4000, ROSE also provides an individual preparation service, extending from machining, equipping in acc. with the customer’s specifications, up to and including a customised paint finish.

Front plate mounting

Front panel is mounted from inside. Quick and easy installation with four clamping bars.

Integrated handle system

The integrated handle profiles on the side profiles, ensure ergonomic and comfortable operation of the housing system.

Hinged rear wall

The hinged rear wall ensures easy access to the housing. Various turn bolt fasteners are available for this purpose.

Screwed rear wall

The screwed rear wall is used to increase the stability of profile combinations as soon as the door is opened to the front.

Desk connection

An additional housing is optionally available as a desk connection to accommodate built-in components or command devices.
Due to the connection profile, the desk housing is inclined by 30° to the operator and thus enables an ergonomic workplace
design.

Individual color scheme

Profiles, corner pieces and corner flaps can be powder-coated individually and thus optimally adapted to your CI concept.

Profile combinations and installation depths

With 18 variants, the SL 4000 covers installation depths from 55mm to 270mm. The combinations can be hinged or firmly screwed. Doors can be realized opening to the front or to the back. The individually used profiles have a hinged or a fixed rear panel.

Connection to suspension system

Depending on the profile depth and profile combinations, different support arm systems from ROSE can be connected. This is possible via side A (top), via side B (bottom) or alternatively via the rear wall.
