Focus on industrial enclosures and ergonomic HMI technology

ROSE Systemtechnik will be exhibiting a selection of its robust industrial enclosures and highlighting their potential applications in numerous sectors of industry at this year’s Hanover Trade Fair. The company will also focus attention on ergonomic HMI solutions, in the form of its innovative supporting-arm system and will, in addition, spotlight an innovative series of high-quality aluminium enclosures in high-grade finishes and with a large and diverse range of design and styling potentials.

ROSE Systemtechnik industrial, operating and display enclosures, and ROSE Ex equipment, are the right choice wherever sensitive electronics need assured protection from external influences in adverse environments. They are used in the most diverse fields: in the processing and automotive industries, for instance, in mechanical and plant engineering, and also in transport and communications technology. From 23 to 27 April, the manufacturer from Porta Westfalica will be showcasing its extensive range of products on Stand E49 in Hall 12 at the 2018 Hanover Trade Fair.

Supporting-arm system for ergonomic work stations

ROSE is currently working even more intensively on ergonomic solutions for the HMI sector. In Hanover, the company will also be showing, inter alia, its height-adjustable “GTV light” supporting-arm for smaller payloads: these make it possible to adjust the control panels of machines and complete systems quickly and easily to the needs of alternating, multi-shift operators. Even complicated programming procedures are much easier with GTV light, because the operator can carry out his or her work either standing or sitting down. The compact height adjustment system is especially suitable for use with machine tools, packing or printing machines and in automobile manufacture, assembly automation and process monitoring.

Dependable protection in harsh environments

Another highlight of the fair will be ROSE’s AluFormPlus aluminium enclosure. “This product family is a further development of our previous die-cast aluminium enclosures. It convinces users above all with its high-grade styling and is especially suitable for use in visible applications”, affirms Heiko Felsmann, head of sales and marketing at ROSE Systemtechnik. The sturdy industrial enclosures are made of a high-quality metal alloy and conform to Degree of Protection IP 66. They provide impact resistance of 7 Joule according to EN 60079-0 and reliably protect built-in components against dust and strong jets of water, even in a harsh industrial environment. “One additional positive feature of these aluminium enclosures is the integrated hinges which connect the lid to the base,” Felsmann adds. “This permits technicians easy working access to the electronics and ensures that no components can be lost.” ROSE also provides customers with an option for finishing of their aluminium enclosures in their own CI colours. The enclosures specialist also has extensive facilities for machining, finishing and surface treatment of all products at its ultra-modern plant in Porta Westfalica, enabling it to supply not only standard, “off the shelf” industrial enclosures, but also special customised solutions – even for orders of only one item!
