On August 1, 2019, ROSE Systemtechnik acquired CRE Rösler Electronic GmbH, a leading supplier of automation solutions. CRE manufactures panel PCs, industry-grade monitors and embedded PCs for a wide range of industrial sectors. The company’s portfolio is an optimal addition to ROSE’s product range.
Reliable products for industry 4.0
CRE supplies its automation systems to well-known customers all over the world. The operating and display devices are found in the foodstuffs industry just as frequently as in automobile manufacturing, research facilities, logistics, and in general mechanical engineering. In addition to sturdy and reliable panel PCs, industry-grade monitors, embedded PCs and mobile HMI solutions, CRE manufactures solutions for the drive, control and safety technology sectors. At the firm’s headquarters in Hohenlockstedt, Schleswig Holstein, 45 employees are constantly developing new products to satisfy Industry 4.0’s requirements.
“Thanks to CRE’s considerable know-how, we can now offer customer-specific, complete HMI solutions from a single source,” is how Dr. Heinz Werner Rixen, ROSE’s managing director, speaks of the acquisition. “Starting now, our customers can purchase the entire range consisting of the control unit, IPC and supporting-arm system.”
In acquiring the automation specialist, ROSE is continuing its on-going development from being a component supplier to becoming a system supplier.
