ProtEx Stainless Steel Flange
The ProtEx Ex stainless-steel flange series has been specially conceived for applications in the oil and gas sector. These robust enclosures consist of a base part, a hinged removable lid and one or more flange plates. Integrated fixing brackets assure easy fixing to racks or frames for use in the on-shore or the offshore sector.
This product range consists of twelve different enclosure sizes, from 260 x 260 x 205 mm to 980 x 740 x 205 mm. The grade of material used for the ProtEx enclosures is 1.4404/316L. The accessories and external components have the material grade 1.4301/304.
ProtEx enclosures feature a universal internal structure. Both mounting plates and one or more DIN rails can be installed here. Their great advantage can be found in the flange plates type. Further machining can be performed on the detached flange plate, even retrospectively, without difficulty. This is particularly useful in case of modifications during the setting-up phase.
In accordance with the relevant regulations, these enclosures feature the necessary earthing (grounding) system: in addition to a continuous internal earthing (grounding) facility, the external earthing (grounding) screw fitted as standard also permits on-site earthing (grounding) of the enclosures.

Ex EQUIPMENT
These Ex stainless-steel enclosures take the form of high-quality enclosure systems featuring conformity to ATEX and the IEC code. They are particularly suitable for use in harsh and aggressive environments, such as Close to seawater, in areas in which the greatest purity and cleanness are necessary and in EMV applications.
Ex EQUIPMENT
IGS industrial enclosures with hinged lid are manufactured in Material 1.4301/304 or, alternatively, in Material 1.4404/316L, and thus assure extremely good protection in harsh and aggressive environments. The lid takes the form of a door, and is secured by means of an internal hinge.
