Ex stainless steel enclosure systems from ROSE are ideal for protecting electronic components in harsh environments. The metal housings are corrosion-resistant, have a very high chemical resistance and can be used in a wide temperature range. Operators of LNG and hydrogen terminals also rely on the robust housing made from Porta Westfalica.
The Ex stainless steel enclosure systems from ROSE meet the requirements of the ATEX/IECEx standards and are approved for ATEX zones 1 and 21. Users receive the housing either as a component with U approval or as a fully certified device for the installation of terminals or electronic equipment.
ROSE offers its Ex stainless steel enclosure systems in more than 40 different versions – in addition to the standard version, there are also versions with a flange, hinged door or EMC protection. All Ex stainless steel housings can be used in the temperature ranges T6/T5/T4 and -60 °C and are certified by the classification society Det Norske Veritas (DNV) for use in ships and offshore systems. Since the housings are made of high-quality V4A stainless steel, they are also ideal for hygiene-critical applications in the food, beverages and tobacco and pharmaceuticals industries.
All Ex stainless steel enclosures have captive cover screws, a large cut-out for built-in components and integrated attachments for mounting rails and mounting plates. The housing systems are available as standard empty housings with dimensions from 100 x 100 x 61 mm to 200 x 600 x 121 mm. In addition, ROSE has the ProtEx housing in its range as a high-tech solution for the oil and gas sector: They are equipped with one or more flange plates and are available in the dimensions 260 x 260 x 205 mm to 980 x 740 x 205 mm. Integrated mounting tabs ensure easy mounting to racks or frames in onshore and offshore applications.
Ex stainless steel housings from ROSE can be manufactured in customer-specific sizes on request, equipped with individual components or provided with a viewing window.
