For maximum security
Housings from ROSE Systemtechnik are used in potentially explosive environments as well as in maritime areas and in rail transport. Each housing has the necessary certificates and approvals for its area of application. The customer gets everything from a single source and saves time-consuming auditing procedures.
In the maritime sector such as B. on offshore platforms or offshore wind turbines housing must be seawater resistant. For these applications, ROSE therefore subjects its products to an outdoor weathering test and salt spray storage in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9227. All housings for maritime applications also comply with the strict specifications of the classification societies Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Lloyds Register of Shipping and American Bureau of Shipment (ABS) certified.
ROSE also manufactures a wide range of housing systems for applications in environments with potentially explosive atmospheres. The entire range of Ex enclosures meets both the requirements of the ATEX and IECEx directives. In addition, the Ex enclosures are approved for use in Great Britain (UKCA), Brazil (INMETRO), South Africa (Explolabs) and China (CCC). “Because we handle the certification process for our customers, they can easily integrate our housings into their application,” says Axel Brandhorst, Ex protection officer and head of the compliance department at ROSE.
The housings for use in railway technology must also comply with strict standards. Polyester housings from ROSE for rail technology applications are certified according to the fire protection standard EN 45545 for rail traffic. On request, ROSE can also supply housings for particularly critical areas in railway technology with an E30 certificate – e.g. B. for installation in tunnels. ROSE also has the approval for the welding of railway technology housings (EN 15085).
However, ROSE not only certifies its housings according to all common standards. The company also supports its customers in carrying out approval processes. The housing specialists use their know-how from thousands of successfully completed projects over the past decades.
