The new Rose Modular System for stainless steel enclosures allows an individual construction according to your ideas and needs. In order to be able to offer our customers even mr flexibility and individuality in the selection of the enclosures, we have revised our existing series of stainless steel terminal enclosures.
The basis of the new RMS – ROSE Modular System is a uniform basic construction and the high standardization of the individual components. The cleverly thought-out system enables the user to configure an optimal stainless steel enclosures for his requirements from a multitude of possible combinations – with the hinged cover as stainless steel switch cabinet, with screwed cover as a classic terminal box or with pre-assembled flanges as connection housing.
The basis of the new product range formed by the base part and lid in 25 housing sizes with five different installation depths from 200 x 200 x 80 mm to 600 x 600 x 260 mm. The Rose Modular System is completed by accessories:
The design of the enclosure base offers the user a number of decisive advantages over the previous stainless steel industrial enclosure – the focus on maximum flexibility and optimum use of the installation space.
The newly integrated mounting brackets in the lower part of the housing allow flexible positioning of electrical components. Two additional welding studs also offer the option of mounting a mounting rail vertically.
The modular design of the stainless steel housing envisages configuring the cover in a screwed or hinged version, optionally with stainless steel or plastic double ward. In both versions, a M6x16mm grounding bolt is inserted and a silicone gasket glued-tested in our internal laboratory, the ROSE Modular System enclosures meet IP66 to IP69 protection ratings.
The standard product portfolio offers four different flange sizes 260 x 85 mm to 460 x 165 mm to scale the flexibility as much as possible. The flanges can be mounted on all sides of the enclosure using welding studs and then screwed on.
The flanges offer the advantage of the easy exchange of different hole patterns without replacing the enclosure. As well as to flange two housings together for complex applications and thus to have the largest possible installation space available.
The user has the choice between two different versions of the stainless steel external mounting brackets for mounting the enclosure on the wall. The selection depends on the use of the enclosure in a machine or outdoors.
The revised design of the brackets offers the handling advantages of simpler mounting of the enclosure by “hanging” them into the brackets, as well as sufficient play when locking for attachment. In addition to the straight design, the cranked outer bracket offers the advantage that the stainless steel box has a wall distance of 13 mm and thus prevents dirt deposits in this area. The brackets are either welded or screwed on with an anti-twist protection.
By expanding our machine park at the Porta Westfalica location, we are not only able to assemble individual stainless steel housings from the RMS – ROSE Modular System, but also to carry out mechanical processing within the shortest possible time – entirely according to the customer’s wishes.
Cases made of stainless steel for industrial use in demanding industries such as the food and process industries or for outdoor applications have been an integral part of our product portfolio for many years. The high material quality of stainless steel 1.4301 / 304 is particularly suitable for applications in harsh and aggressive environments and offers reliable protection against external influences such as dust or strong water jets for sensitive installations.
