Rose cable glands are made of brass, stainless steel and plastic

The material brass extends the operating temperature range (-60°C to +140°C) and the use of shielded and armoured cables requires the mandatory use of metal cable glands. In addition, the brass gland with a nickel surface offers good corrosion resistance.

The material stainless steel is used for applications in rough environments which require robustness against environmental influences. The main feature of the stainless steel cable glands is the very good corrosion resistance (often as stainless steel 316L).

The plastic cable glands have a significantly lower weight compared to the metallic versions. Coupled with the good resistance to salt water and other aggressive atmospheres, they offer a compact solution for projects requiring low weight combined with good economy.
