The Foundation for a Digitalized Production
Panel PCs from ROSE Systemtechnik form the foundation for the digitalization of production. Thanks to a cooperation with setago.io GmbH, the devices are now available with integrated software. This provides users with a complete solution tailored precisely to their requirements.
With powerful Panel PCs from ROSE Systemtechnik, shopfloor processes can be digitalized quickly and easily. The result: Manufacturing and logistics workflows become significantly more efficient, and operating costs decrease. Each ROSE Panel PC is individually configured for its specific application and equipped with the appropriate components. These include RFID readers, buttons, bus systems, WLAN/Bluetooth, interface extensions, and resistive touchscreens. On request, the HMI specialist also supplies its Panel PCs with support arm systems, height adjustments, and suspension systems. “No one else offers this,” reports Nils Stello, Head of the HMI Business Unit at ROSE.
However, the core of any digitalization effort is the software: Until now, ROSE has installed customer-supplied programs on its Panel PCs. Through its cooperation with setago.io GmbH, users now receive a tailored worker assistance, production data acquisition, or manufacturing execution system along with their devices.
The software developed by setago.io covers production analytics and cross-workstation collaboration, as well as the control of intralogistics processes and documentation of in-house expertise. As a centralized interface, the program facilitates seamless communication between various IoT hardware components. To achieve this, manufacturing processes are consolidated, and the associated components are efficiently integrated into a unified platform.
