Custom Designs

Standard Enclosures for Small Quantities

For some projects, developing a custom sensor enclosure is not cost-effective. To provide a simple, affordable, and quick solution for protecting measurement technology, ROSE offers the Aluform series. These enclosures are made from die-cast aluminum (AC-AlSi12 (Fe)) and are pre-configured to accommodate front foils and membrane keypads. Additionally, Aluform enclosures allow for easy installation of circuit boards and PCBs.

Like all ROSE aluminum enclosures, Aluform sensor enclosures feature external mounting channels, ensuring that internal electronics remain protected from metal shavings. Customers can choose from a wide range of machining options, around 300 enclosure colors, and custom surface branding with logos. Special versions are also available for applications in explosion-prone environments.

Well-Protected Against External Influences

Aluform sensor enclosures are available in various protection classes, including IP66, IP67, and IP69, ensuring reliable protection of internal measurement technology against water and dust. They also withstand temperatures ranging from –20 °C to +120 °C. Gaskets containing metallic particles provide excellent EMC shielding. Meanwhile, plastic enclosures are vapor-coated internally with an EMC shield to ensure electromagnetic compatibility.
