Optimal Power Distribution
High-voltage power distribution units (HV PDUs) from ROSE Systemtechnik enable the efficient operation of electric construction machinery, commercial vehicles, and municipal vehicles. The HV PDUs ensure optimal power distribution among the vehicle’s high-voltage components. Rugged housings made of stainless steel, polyester, or aluminum protect the systems’ electronics from external influences.
HV PDUs from ROSE Systemtechnik are suitable for all heavy-duty electric vehicles on water and on land that require high voltages for propulsion. These distribution units not only secure all inputs and outputs at the terminals—they also protect the individual components and connections from overload. By using these units, heavy-duty electric vehicles achieve high performance while operating very efficiently.
All distribution units meet the requirements of protection classes IP66, IP67, IP69, and IP6K9K. They are therefore also resistant to fine dust in road traffic. In addition, the HV PDUs feature EMC protection, power line protection, and a safety shutdown. They are also shock- and vibration-resistant. ROSE offers a wide range of certifications for its PDUs: in addition to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, marine certifications, and a railway certification, they also include certifications for the UK, South Africa, Brazil, and India.
ROSE manufactures its high-voltage distribution units to customer specifications and optimally adapts them to the specific application. Its comprehensive services include, among other things, the mechanical machining of enclosures according to specifications, as well as the professional integration and wiring of all internal components. Upon request, ROSE also handles the procurement of components and the professional connection of connectors and cables. Additionally, the housing can be optionally equipped with a compact water-cooling system.
At the iVT Expo trade show on June 10 and 11 in Cologne, ROSE will showcase three complete high-voltage distribution systems made of aluminum, a stainless steel PDU, and a heat sink for mass-production applications. At the booth, the enclosure experts will also be available to visitors for one-on-one consultations.
Close customer contact is an integral part of the company’s philosophy: customers are supported every step of the way, from the initial concept through to the mass production of their high-voltage distribution units. Working closely with the customer, the company determines the protection class, the materials, and the optimal layout of the components. Prototype production is available starting with a quantity of just one unit. The finished HV PDU are tested in the company’s in-house laboratory to ensure compliance with relevant safety requirements.
